Prerequisites:
-Be at least 18 years old
-Have a level of kitesurfing experience corresponding to IKO level 4Y  (https://www.ikointl.com/course/kiteboarder/advanced).
-Have your valid first aid card (8 hours), it is possible to follow it after the training but the IKO certification is valid following presentation of your card.
-Be certified IKO assistant instructor
-Know how to read and write the language in which the training takes place (French)
-Have signed the participation and risk acceptance form

Important : The training is rigorous and represents a significant workload. Each candidate is evaluated throughout the training on their theoretical understanding, their communication skills, their ability to adapt to the environment, etc. If the candidate does not meet all the criteria to obtain certification, they will be invited to complete internship hours (minimum 20 hours) in order to obtain IKO certification. Internship hours are hours of teaching practice, with real students, under the supervision of an IKO level 2 instructor. If there is not enough wind to complete the teaching practice hours required during training, internship hours will also be necessary in order to obtain IKO certification.

Then find the desired training (https://www.ikointl.com/courses) and reserve your place by paying the registration fees. The registration fee ($280 US for AITC) is in addition to the rate charged by Progression Kite. There is no deadline to register. The training will be confirmed no later than one month in advance. There must be a minimum of 4 participants registered before this date for the training to take place. Hurry, places are limited (8). Cancellation policy: The $800 deposit sent to Progression Kite is not refundable less than 30 days before the start of the training. Before this time (30 days), or in the event that the training does not take place, the deposit is completely refundable.
